NIUVER
Niuver is a unique Cuban talent, blending Cuban and French cultures, a velvety voice a crystalline guitar sound, she is multi-instrumentalist (laúd and tres). Her career flourished with performances in Cuba and abroad. In Europe, she impressed audiences, and integrated into France's jazz scene. Collaborations with international artists led to her debut solo album,"Quiéreme Mucho”produced by Raúl Paz and featured on the famous NY Label “Putumayo”. Signing with Sony Music France in 2012, her second album "Trasnochando” featured various renowned Parisian musicians. The song “C'est toi que j’aime" received six months of airplay on France Inter (French National radio) and had a career she had only dreamed of back in Cuba. Excited about her good fortune, Niuver reconnected with an American lawyer that she met in Cuba when she was in Cuba, who introduced her to an American Music Company, Invasion Group, which connected “C’est toi que j’aime” with placements in the American TV programs “Franklin and Bash” and “Whiskey Cavalier”. She recently left France to tour with the famous Guatemalan singer “Ricardo Arjona” which allowed her to get an artist visa and stay in the United States, where she finally attained her dream of living in America. She is now based in Miami, Florida and became an American citizen. Her third album,“Vivir”, to be released in September 2025, was produced by Latin Grammy winner Yadam González. This album blends guajira son with French chanson, jazz, and bossa nova. Most importantly, “Vivir” is a symbol of new creativity, adversity andresilience, as Niuver recently beat cancer and almost lost her voice to the disease.
